The Pitch: Advertising and marketing news for 2.9.21

Addison Clark was hired by Medical Imaging of Fredericksburg. Work will include digital marketing, search engine optimization, social media management and data analytics.

Elevation hired two new employees. Chris Fullman is associate director of platforms and products, a new strategic and policy-focused position. He has over 20 years of industry experience, including at The Martin Agency. Kristin Youngblood rejoins Elevation as senior project manager. She was previously with the firm as an account coordinator and most recently was with McGarrah Jessee in Austin, Texas.

Torx picked up The Holland Grill Co. as a new client. Work for the North Carolina-based grill manufacturer will include website design and development services, as well as assistance with ongoing digital marketing campaigns. Local independent radio station WRIR-LP 97.3 FM hired Torx to create social media ad campaigns aimed at increasing listenership.

Evergib was hired by Richmond-based Smartbox Solutions. Work for the portable storage and moving company will include brand strategy and creative development.

JLV Communications and Departure Point Films developed a brand video for Virginia’s Gateway Region, an economic development group promoting the Tri-Cities and surrounding counties. The video will be used to help market the region to economic development prospects.

Photographer Cade Martin shot a series of portraits for Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Work included a virtual photo session with a family living with Cystic Fibrosis in Los Angeles via cameras on their computers and phones.

Whittington Consulting completed a website user experience audit and website updates for Augusta County Virginia Economic Development & Tourism.

Filmspire produced a video for Fleet Feet Richmond. The clip highlights the running store’s father-and-son co-owners Jeff Wells and Jason Wells and the work they do with several area nonprofits.

Dotted Line added three new employees. Jason Anderson is creative director and will serve on the agency’s leadership team. He previously was a creative director at NDP. Mitchell Jordan, also formerly with NDP, is an associate creative director. He most recently was with Franklin StreetKyra Newman is a senior technical writer. She previously ran a Glen Allen-based communications firm.
